Building a brand from infancy: SEO.com
Before working with PRMarketing.com, SEO.com was averaging about 400 leads a month and its media coverage was limited to a few local papers. With a strong name in its industry, PRMarketing.com knew there was a lot of potential for growth, leads, sales and publicity. PRMarketing.com devised a strategy that would both build the brand and boost leads and sales through lead generation, public relations and social media.
Lead Generation
PRMarketing.com devised a lead generation campaign involving more strategic search engine optimization, business development strategy, conversion optimization, content marketing and a series of webinars and workshops.
In about a year’s time, the momentum of those campaigns proved extremely lucrative. SEO.com went from about 15,000 visitors a month to nearly 50,000. At the same time, PRMarketing.com increased the conversion rate from about 2% to nearly 10%, which translated into nearly 4,000 extra leads per month. In response, SEO.com hired more than 60 employees to handle the growth.
Public Relations
PRMarketing.com immediately devised a PR plan for the year, with a goal to attain coverage in both national and local publications. In a year’s time, PRMarketing.com placed SEO.com in Tech Crunch, Investor’s Business Daily, AOL Small Business, Website Magazine, Visibility Magazine, Utah Business Magazine, Utah CEO Magazine, The Daily Herald, The Deseret News, The Salt Lake Tribune, and other publications. Online, SEO.com press releases received more than a million headline impressions, and thousands of reads.

Blogging and Social Media
SEO.com already had a good, informational blog before PRMarketing.com took over. SEO.com had many employees willing to write for the blog, but what it lacked was the resources to make it consistent and turn it into a marketing tool. Through PRMarketing.com’s efforts, the SEO.com blog was redesigned to be more social, and now has become a main traffic source, lead generation tool, and a resource to build the brand through social media. PRMarketing.com uses the SEO.com blog to help its social profiles. In a short time, PRMarketing.com has helped the SEO.com Twitter profile gain more than 3,000 followers.
